The wait is over for the new vintage Sauvignon Blanc and our six year aged Merlot.
After a great vintage the Piccadilly Valley Sauvignon Blanc for 2017 has just been released and is being well received.
The wine displays citrus, pear, tropical fruit, herbaceous and gooseberry aromas followed by a palate with persistent fruit flavours, minerality and crispness from natural grape acidity.
Also, it’s a pleasure to announce the release of 2011 ‘The Ambrose” Merlot. A long time in the waiting, but Merlot just takes years to be ready to present itself and as such the time is ripe.
A complex nose of mulberries, blueberries, plums, savoury olive notes, cedar, earthiness and chocolate is followed by a soft palate with fine tannins, good length and balance. Despite its age at release (6 years) this wine continues to develop and has potential to age and improve for some years yet.
Have a look for them under the Wines section for detailed tasting notes and ordering, or if you can’t wait, simply click the bottle(s) of your choice!
Always great when a vintage comes together and the wine is ready and available for supporters and new friends to try.
